What we do

Classroom tools should help teachers lead the room, not add another system to manage. We bring groups, seating, timers, schedules, noise monitoring, and more into one flexible whiteboard. Teachers can build the exact classroom view they need and start in seconds.

What began as a simple group generator is now an all-in-one classroom workspace. Every tool is designed to be clear on a projector, quick to control, and easy to use without training.

Traffic light features for clear behavior cues

A giant behavior signal with editable labels, auto-advance, and projector-ready visibility.

Giant three-color signal

A huge green, yellow, or red light that students can read instantly from the back of the room.

Editable state labels

Rename each color to match the activity, like "Group Work", "Whisper", or "Silent", or anything your class uses.

One-tap state switching

Flip between work modes with a single tap so students transition without disruption.

Custom state descriptions

Add a short cue under each label, like "Quiet voices, partner only", so the rule is on screen, not in your repeated reminders.

Optional sound cue

Play a gentle chime when the state changes so students notice without a verbal reminder.

Fullscreen projector mode

Show the signal in fullscreen on a projector or interactive whiteboard for whole-class visibility.

As easy as 1, 2, signal!

Three quick steps to a giant green, yellow, or red behavior signal.

Pick your labels

Keep the defaults or rename each color to match the activity, rule, or vocabulary your class uses.

Tap a color

Start on green, yellow, or red depending on what students should be doing right now.

Present and switch

Project the signal in fullscreen and switch states as the activity changes.

More tools for your classroom

Got questions? We have answers!

Can't find what you're looking for? We're here to help.

Is this a noise meter?

No. The traffic light is a behavior signal you control manually. It is not a microphone-driven noise meter. For live volume detection, use the Noise Monitor tool instead.

Can I change what each color means?

Yes. Tap any label and rename it to match your activity, for example "Group Work", "Whisper", "Test Mode", "Silent Reading", or any other vocabulary your class uses.

How do I switch between colors?

Tap the green, yellow, or red bulb and the signal updates instantly. You can also click the housing to cycle through green, yellow, and red.

Can I add a description under each label?

Yes. Each color has its own short description (up to 30 characters), like "Quiet voices, partner only", so students can read the rule without you repeating it.

Does it make a sound when the color changes?

Optional. Turn the sound cue on or off. When on, a gentle chime plays so students notice transitions without a verbal reminder.

Can I run it on a projector?

Yes. Presentation mode opens a fullscreen signal that is big enough to read from the back of a classroom.

How long does each state last?

As long as you want. Tap a color when you want to switch, or click the housing to cycle to the next state.

Does it need the microphone or internet?

Neither. The traffic light is fully manual and runs locally in your browser. No microphone permission is required.

Does it work on tablets?

Yes. Tap targets are large enough for tablets and the signal resizes to fit any screen.

Why should I upgrade to Pro?

The traffic light and its custom labels, descriptions, sounds, and presentation mode are free. Pro cloud-saves the boards you build around it and syncs those classroom setups across your devices. It also includes live QR polling, priority support, and 30 monthly AI credits.
