Is the AI sticker maker free?

No. Image generation has real cost on our end, so the sticker widget is Pro-only. Pro includes 30 monthly AI credits shared across every AI tool: stickers, flashcards, quizzes, worksheets, rubrics, and lesson plans.

How does the transparent background work?

The AI is asked to render the sticker on a flat pure-white plate. Once the image comes back, the browser scans from the edges of the canvas inward and replaces the background white with transparency, leaving inner whites (eyes, highlights, the sticker outline) intact.

What model are you using?

gpt-image-2, the latest "ChatGPT Images 2.0" image generation model from OpenAI. It produces classroom-quality artwork on a tight prompt-to-output cycle.

Can I reuse a sticker on another whiteboard?

Yes. Every generation is saved to a shared recent-generations library on your device. The image widget and the sticker widget both pull from that library, so a previous sticker can be dropped on a new board without spending another credit.

How many stickers does a credit make?

One credit per generation. Reusing a saved sticker from the recent-generations strip does not spend a credit.

Why do my stickers sometimes have a faint white edge?

The background cut is alpha-soft right at the edge to avoid a hard halo. If you ever see a thin ring, regenerate with a slightly more specific prompt ("with a thick white sticker border") or pick the kawaii preset, which produces the cleanest outline.

Can I edit a generated sticker?

You can re-prompt to generate a new variation, or remove it and start over. We do not offer in-painting / pixel-level edits inside the widget.

Do you share student details with the AI?

No. The prompt and the chosen style preset are the only data sent. Class names, student names, and personal information never leave your browser.

What if my prompt gets blocked?

gpt-image-2 has its own content safety policy. If your prompt is blocked, you will see a friendly toast asking you to rephrase. No credit is spent on a blocked generation.
