QR code features built for classroom sharing

Project a scannable code on your whiteboard so every student opens the same link, doc, or form in seconds.

Any link or text

Paste a URL, a shared Google Doc, a Form, a YouTube video, or even a phone number. The widget builds the QR automatically and keeps it readable.

Projector-friendly sizing

Drag a corner so the QR fills the projector. Every phone in the room scans on the first try, even from the back row.

Multiple QRs per board

Drop as many QRs as you need on the same board so different stations open different docs, prompts, or rotation links without bumping into each other.

Optional caption

Add a short label like "Scan for the warm-up" or "Station 1 prompt" so the screen tells students exactly what they will open.

Custom colors and error levels

Match the QR to the rest of your board theme and pick an error-correction level that stays scannable even when part of the code is covered.

Lives on the whiteboard

Saves with the board, so tomorrow's lesson opens with the same prompts and a fresh QR ready to scan.

As easy as 1, 2, scan!

Three quick steps to project a scannable QR code for the whole class.

Add the widget

Open the whiteboard and drop a QR code widget onto your board.

Paste your link

Drop in a URL, doc, form, or video link. The QR builds instantly with a caption you choose.

Project and scan

Size the QR for the projector and let students point a phone, the page opens in seconds.

Got questions? We have answers!

Can't find what you're looking for? We're here to help.

What can I put in a QR code?

Any link or short text. URLs, Google Doc/Slides/Forms share links, Microsoft Teams or OneDrive links, YouTube videos, phone numbers, even plain instructions.

Do students need a special app to scan?

No. Modern iPhone and Android cameras read QR codes natively. Students just point their camera at the screen and tap the link that pops up.

Can I add multiple QR codes to one board?

Yes. Add as many QR widgets to the board as you need. Each one carries its own link, caption, and colors so different stations can open different resources at the same time.

Will it scan from the back of the room?

Yes, if you size it up. Pull a corner so the code fills enough of the projector that the modules stay sharp. A quick test scan from the back row confirms it works.

Can I change colors?

Yes. Pick a foreground and background from the presets or open the custom color picker. Keep enough contrast (dark on light) so phones still read the code.

What is error correction?

Built-in redundancy. Higher levels (Q, H) stay scannable when part of the code is covered or projected onto a textured surface. Lower levels (L, M) build denser codes for very long links.

Do I need a sign-up to use the QR widget?

No. The whiteboard and every widget on it, including the QR widget, open without an account or email. Pro is only required if you want unlimited cloud-saved boards across devices.

Why should I upgrade to Pro?

Pro unlocks unlimited cloud-saved whiteboards with every tool embedded as a widget, multi-device sync across school computer, laptop, and tablet, priority support, and 30 monthly AI credits that work across the lesson planner, rubric generator, quiz generator, and worksheet generator. You can also request new tools and we ship them within 7 days.
