How do I use the random picker wheel?

Add your student names or use an existing class, then click the spin button. The wheel spins and randomly lands on a student.

Can I remove names after they are picked?

Yes. Enable the remove-after-pick option to automatically remove students from the wheel once they have been selected. This helps everyone get a turn.

Is the selection truly random?

Yes. The winning slice is chosen at random on every spin, so each student has an equal, unbiased chance of being picked.

Can I use this in presentation mode?

Yes. The wheel works well in fullscreen presentation mode. Display it on your classroom projector for maximum engagement and visibility.

Can I turn off the sound effects?

Yes. Sound effects and confetti animations can be toggled on or off in the settings so you can fit the tool to your classroom environment.

Can I use different colors for the wheel?

The wheel automatically assigns bright, contrasting colors to the segments so names stay easy to read from across the room. You can also set a background color for the widget in settings.

How many students can I add to the wheel?

There is no practical limit for normal classroom use. The wheel automatically adjusts to accommodate all names while remaining readable and functional.

Can I reset the wheel after removing names?

Yes. Open settings and tap a name to toggle it back on, or use "Add all" to restore every student to the wheel at once. Your class roster is always preserved, so removed names are easy to bring back.
